Gondria is MINE all MINE!! I downloaded Npcscan yesterday and spent hours circling the spawn points. This morning about 1am Archimonde server time I couldn't sleep so I signed back on and began my flight pattern again. I'm a miner so I was able to mine cobalt while i camped. I have little patience so around 4am server time I sat on my flying mount at 77,70 the “hot spot”. I started running wow in windowed mode, which I normally don't, and started browsing the web for more Gondria stories. At 4:55 server time I see the edges of my wow screen flashing red, I freaked out, closed the browser and looked at wow, there was Gondria! I abandoned my warp stalker I had just tamed the day before and killed one bear. Gondria turned in my direction, it really is a sight to see against the backdrop of snow, I dropped a trap took a step forward into it and immediately hit the tame button. Gondria pounced right into the trap and before it was freed it was MINE! What a rush. Now I just have to come up with a suitable name.
Npcscan is the bomb, wish I had downloaded it sooner. While I circled the spots during the day it also found Terror Spinner at 63,42. I didn't want it so I killed it and got the Northern Exposure achievement.
I just wish I could have Gondria on my main spec, which is Survival. My dps is around 2500 avg, and I think that should be higher too, but as BM I'm lucky to get 1200. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm going to work on it while I level my awesome new pet.
Gondria and I are off to conquer the world…

If so, with your gear you should be putting up some pretty decent numbers. Your BM spec is for PvP, but I'd imagine you should still get around 3K with it in 25 mans. Your SV spec with that gear should be over 4k. Your glyphs look good too.
Let me know if that's you or not.

Yes that's me. In a raid as survival I can only get 3200-3500 dps if I'm on a boss where I don't have to move much and I don't have to switch to adds, which of course is hardly ever. In Ulduar sometimes I'm only 1900.

I guess the only help I can offer is to review your shot priority.
As Survival, here's what you're looking at:
Kill Shot > Explosive Shot > Black Arrow > Serpent Sting > Aimed or Multi > Steady
The part where it gets tricky is when LnL procs. When this happens, all you basically need to do is cast Explosive Shot, then either Aimed or Multi, Steady, or maybe one of your Stings if they need refreshing, then Explosive Shot Again. The thing to remember is you don't want to cast Explosive Shot back-to-back on a LnL proc, because you will overwrite the DoT, thus decreasing your dps. Casting a shot in between will spend another GCD, and therefore buy enough time for the DoT to do its thing.
Although Black Arrow and Serpent Sting buff your Explosive Shot, I don't recommend delaying the firing of Explosive Shot ever, even if either of those two shots need to be refreshed. As soon as it's off cooldown, let Explosive Shot fly.

MMM After three days of patroling I finaly got the beautiful cat:-)
Im a newbie to raids and have seldom gone in to at BG before I hit lvl 
but trying:-)
Think Ive got some gear that should….but my dps is very low…..
Either Im a bad player*s* or have I put my talent totally wrong……was thinking that at BM for PvP(with Gondria of course even that theres better maybe but not that beautiful;-)) and a SV for raiding(?) if anyone lets me;-)(http://eu.wowarmory.com/charac…..n=EpicFail)

A couple things.
Your BM PvP build is perfect, but your glyphs need help. Get rid of the Rapid Fire Glyph and Glyph of the Beast, and replace with: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42902 and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42897.
For Survival, I'd recommend this:
Get rid of Improved Stings and 1 point in GfTT. Put these 4 points into Wyvern Sting and Noxious Stings. This will give all of your shots 3% increased damage. This is much better than slightly better ticks on Serpent Sting.
Lose Point of No Escape and put those 2 points in Sniper Training.
I'd also consider going 2/3 in Hunting Party and putting that point in Sniper Training to make it 3/3.
Lastly, you may want to drop Aimed Shot for 1 point in Improved Aspect of the Hawk. Just substitute Multi Shot in for Aimed in your priority. 1 point in Hawk along with the glyph of the hawk will help a bit.
You are unglyphed as SV, which is definitely going to hamper your dps. Get a Glyph of Explosive Shot, Kill Shot, and Glyph of the Hawk if you go the 1 pt. in IAotH route. Otherwise, Glyph of Steady Shot.
Lastly, replace the meta gem in your helm with http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41398. The one you're using now is a tanking gem. I'd also suggest you swap out the yellow gem in your chest for either an 8 agility/8 crit or 16AP/8 crit orange one. Haste for BM is waste, especially in PvP.
If you try any of this out, let me know if it helps. At the very least, swap out your BM PvP glyphs with the ones I suggested. It will help you immensely.

hi my name is harcell and i have been wondering if u have any tips on how to find gondria because i have been using the NPCscan and everytime it goes off i got and check all the spawn points u posted but she still doesnt show up at any places so if u have any tips or can help me personally that would be great tyvm

NPCScan doesn't make the distinction between tamable rares and rares that have already been tamed. It's possible that it may have alerted you to a version of Gondria that had just been tamed by another hunter. Best thing to do is to cast Hunter's Mark the moment you get the alarm.
My guess is there was probably another Hunter in the area who'd just tamed Gondria and was leveling him/her.

Harcell, I found and tamed Gondria on my second day of looking and have seen her twice since, always in the same place – just infront of the Alter of Mamt'oth. (I admit to never killing her but flagging her location up in /1 for horde hunters). If you're looking for her she paces up and down by the wall at the edge of the crater near the Trolls riding bats… I dont run any adds so dont have any co-ordinates to give you but will post a screen capture of the location if it will help.
Loque' I hunted for 3 months with no joy, three days after taming Gondria I came across him by chance while doing a quick flyover a spawn point on my way somewhere else. Despite Gondria being stunning he's my favourite pet, possibly because it took me so long to fin him ( I was dreaming taming this beast).
The search for Skoll on Emerald Dream EU has just begun.

I play a dwarf hunter on Archimonde aswell and i was camping for Gondria at the same time. I was flying above, NPCscan went off, i look down, there u are taming him. Killing you didnt even cross my mind because i hate it when ppl do taht to me and hunters should look out for each other more. Gratz on teh pet, now i just gotta get mine.

Having read about the various hunter-pets, I decided to try a BM spec and go after Gondria. First I loitered a bit near (77,70), getting a feel for the new spec, while having my least favourite pet out.
Having done that for 5 – 10 minutes, I got on my trusty mount and headed for (66,7
. Bingo, Gondria was there!
Abandoned the old pet, laid out a frost trap and started taming the beast. Didn't work, so I tried taming again, and this time I got Gondria. Happy was I – until I switched to my MM build and found out that I couldn't use Gondria without 51 points in BM

Finally. My first (and probably the only one i wanted) Spirit Beast.
I religiously do my dailies in a certain pattern which involves a quick detour around ZulDrak to search for Gondria and any other rare elites.
I use NPC Scan so i don't really search, just more of a fly by of the spawn points.
I went backwards this time only cause I was typing in guild and flew too far. I came up on the “Stairs” 63,43, and only saw the Bear that I always kill in frustration. As I went to mount up NPC Scan went ape and there he was.
I had seen two other Hunters only minutes before so I quickly stabled my pet and dropped a trap and hit Tame beast………….Bloody Survival spec.
I honestly thought I was too late but I switched talents and drank a mana pot and put another trap down and the rest is history.
10secs later a Hordy Hunter landed and “Applauded”…….. So lucky.
On a side note:
I have raided in Surv spec since in WOTLK. We have 4 Hunters that always raid in my Guild. 3Surv and 1 BM. Our DPS/Damage varies in all raids but Surv seemed to be a bit in front. Our Gear is very close and we all seem to out do each other on occasions but Surv just seems to win most of the time.
Since Gondria (2 weeks now) I have raided in BM spec and cant believe the difference.
I have topped both the DPS and Damage meters on some boss's. Very nice surprise. Even 5 and 10 mans i seem to be doing a lot better than when I was Survival.

Nothin' like seeing a BM Hunter 2nd on Recount. Not just any BM Hunter mind you, but one who chooses to roll with a Spirit Beast. It's always refreshing seeing posts like yours, dispelling the myth that BM sucks. In skilled hands, Beast Mastery is still viable.
and it's only going to get better…

1st Me

3rd nicely geared Ret Pally
4th and 5th SURV Hunters
Actually there is a mage in there but the 4 Hunters were all top of the Damage recount.
I love the spirit beast to death. We breeze thru ToC so i dont use my Wolf that often. May try my Wolf next week and see if there is much differance.
I have set my recount up to show Pets in the list. Gondria out DPS'd a Warlock and another Hunter /cry in VOA last night.
PS: i have no idea why I blanked out all the names of my Guildies. I think it is just the right thing to do.
