Mists of Pandaria Release Date: September 25th

I just peeped on Facebook that Mists will be launching on September 25th — just 2 short months from now..!!

I know I haven’t been active in the game or on the blog, but I am excited about the upcoming expansion. I’ve taken an extended break for a multitude of reasons, however, I am itching to start getting my hunter on once again. I actually jumped on for a few random BGs the other night…and had a blast. This game is just too much fun if you can let it be just that…fun.

Most of my gaming time this past year has been spent on Diablo 3, but I must admit, it’s not as engaging as I thought it would be. This could change when Blizzard adds the PvP Arena to the mix, but I don’t foresee it pulling me away from WoW…not at all.

Anyway…been awhile, so just thought I’d pop in and say “hello”. I will be putting Garwulf to work in preparation for MoP, so I hope to have some stuff for you to read in the coming weeks and months. 🙂

  1. Mmm yes not long now – although I wasn’t planning on it, I think I will try out MoP – really want to play WSG again…!

    Will you be getting GW2 by any chance? I played ranger in the betas because I love hunter/ranger classes though I didn’t find it near as fun as my hunter in WoW, and the pet’s aren’t as durable or fun to play with – still will roll one but going to be an elementalist as a main though.

    Also bought Diablo 3 too (and matching socks), playing Demon Hunter of course. And yeah I agree not as engaging as I was hoping, and I find repeating the content rather different from what I’m use to – but still fun. Just need to get better resist gear, not so fun being a glass cannon in inferno!

  2. Heya Gar-good to see you post again. I’ve not been following the MoP stuff that much but enough to know one of your many areas of expertise is going to be in high demand. Macros! With the new CD on Aspects that I’ve read about, oy….

  3. Good to hear from you Gar! I’ve been keeping an eye on things around here for you in your absence.
    I did a bit of poking around on beta, but dropped from it so that I didn’t spoil things for myself when MoP actually comes out.
    I’ve been doing some raiding, but mostly PvPing, while waiting for MoP.

  5. Seems like you and I are on the same boat or at least the same model (mine is red and your is blue). I’m all fired up for pandaland (a.k.a. Mist of Pandaria) than I ever was for or during Cataclysm. Here is my things-to-do list (WIP)

    1. Make ALL non-hunters pay for the YEARS of pain they put us through… with interest.

    2. Go Alfred Hitchcock on the Alliance at least once (Murder of crows + All bird Stampede(preferably seagull and/or Ben’thalos)). A literal death-from-above.

    3. Show those warlocks (and everyone else while I’m at it) unprecedented meaning of pet power.

    4.BEAVER PET! I don’t care if it turns out to be a vanity pet but Blizzard will be pissing off ALOT of Canadians if we won’t have a little beaver following us around. (We’re still waiting on those moose mounts as well)

    5. Go on another pet taming spree. With a few pet buff changing, I’ll need to take stock and tame what I’ll be missing.
